A big event of health and fitness is going to start in Dubai, which will help people to have the chance to work out in bigger groups under the supervision of expert fitness trainers, Dubai Active is coming to the city soon, alongside the annual Dubai Muscle Show, and is promising a large collection of activities, fitness demonstrations, training, cardio exercises, workouts and more that are specially planned to attract the people of Dubai to come and participate in the event, and put their efforts in making the Dubai the healthy city.

You will be amazed to see the range of sections specially designed and dedicated to a variety of sports and fitness studies. Expert yoga trainers are here to help you increase strength, stamina, and make you unwind and de-stressed. The Optimum Nutrition Fitness Studio is offering group workouts from international fitness studios, followed by free diet meals and shakes to help you recover properly after hard workouts. A great cycling studio is designed for hard exercise and fat burning workouts, along with the special stage to teach you health, diet, and fitness suggestions to help stay cool and calm under pressure situation, and even getting better sleep, all the facilities are managed under one roof only for your good health.

Dubai festival center welcomes you to the great festival, aiming the people moving and no matter where they live in the city, and what is their fitness level, and what sports they interested in. a very cheap and budgeted package is designed for you and most of the activities are free of cost. All you need is to just register and visit nearest fitness festival center. This 30 days festival will cover more than 5000 session in nearly every location in emirates.

Fitness villages

Kite beach and Dubai festival center will host as the two themed fitness villages and will serve the people as management points of the event. The kite beach is sponsored by etisalat and meraas and is an open air location for both in land and water sports as well, along with basketball, yoga, combat sports, paddle boarding, and back to back session for guidance and meditation. The fitness villages will be open from 7am to 9 pm from Sunday to Wednesday and 11pm for Thursday and Saturday.

Running events

The ultra classy running tracks are here to welcome you all to run and learn good running techniques in all the festival days. Short run, and marathons are planned to check fitness level and our fitness experts are here to help you guide and increase fitness and stamina. All you have to do is to register and visit the place; all the running events are free of cost for all participants

Swimming sessions

As the swimming is favorite sport for the athletes, a special swimming event is planned. The perfect weather and place is ready for you. The venue is ready to check your strength from 200 meters to 1000 meters of swimming workouts. This event is not the children’s less than 8 years old. Event contains open air swimming with racing, music and a lot of community spirits.

Celebrity appearance

The Body Coach Joe Wicks, best known for his Lean in 15 recipe books, will be in town to lead a HIIT (high intensity interval training) class and to break a Guinness World Record. The aim is for this to be the world’s largest group HIIT workout, so he’ll need all the bodies he can get for this one. It will take place at Skydive Dubai and it will only be open to participants who have a basic level of fitness and who are aged 18 and over.

Obstacle courses

If you’re particularly fit, you might want to take part in one of the fun obstacle courses that’ll be taking place. There’s tough mudder surface, which is for people with intermediate to advanced fitness levels, and which sees teams of friends take on one of the world’s toughest and muddiest courses. Participants can try a 5K with 13-plus obstacles, a 10K classic or the Tougher Mudder, with more than 25 tasks to complete. Earlier in the month, there’s also the Mercedes-Benz Challenge which invites 100 teams to complete seven challenges hidden across the city in order to win a new Mercedes-Benz GLC 200.

Pop-up gyms

With the great slogan “City is the Gym” a mind-blowing concept of DFC content hub. 30 different locations are put together to workout in all the city including parks and running tracks spread all over the city. Each event includes warming-up main hard work out and cooling down body guidance. Participants can join anywhere in the city venue by scanning QR code on mobile phone.
